Company: WRS - Worldwide Recruitment Solutions Location: Paris, Ile De France, France Job type: Contract Salary: Competitive GBP / YEAR Posted: 2026-02-06 Senior Contract Engineer & Administrator – Paris Location: Paris, France (Residential, with international travel) Contract Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract Compensation: Day Rate Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to lead and manage all contract engineering and administration activities for a major international energy and infrastructure development. Based residentially in Paris, the role will initially support project execution from the head office, with frequent interface with international stakeholders and future relocation to an overseas project office. The position plays a key role in managing complex tendering processes and administering high-value engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. The role supports the delivery of a large-scale renewable energy development combining utility-scale solar generation and battery energy storage to supply continuous green electricity for international export. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all commercial and contractual activities across multiple project contract packages. Prepare and manage Call for Tender (CFT) and Compensated Call for Tender (CCFT) processes, including documentation, clarifications, negotiations, and contract committee preparation. Support tendering for FEED, EPC (onshore and offshore), infrastructure works, and major equipment supply contracts. Prepare, review, and administer contractual documentation throughout the contract lifecycle. Provide contractual and commercial support to the Project Manager during execution. Manage contract correspondence, notices, and formal communications with contractors. Coordinate and manage change order processes, including evaluation, negotiation, and log management. Support claims management, dispute resolution, and defense strategy in coordination with legal and insurance teams. Participate in contractor and supplier evaluation and selection processes. Contribute to the development of project-specific contractual frameworks, templates, and governance. Attend and contribute to contractual meetings, including weekly and monthly progress and change meetings. Ensure compliance with contractual procedures, governance, and HSE requirements. Candidate Profile Degree-qualified in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. 10+ years’ professional experience, with 15+ years in contract / commercial management on large-scale projects. Strong experience managing complex EPC, FEED, and major equipment supply contracts. Background in energy, infrastructure, or renewable projects preferred.
