Contract: 12 month renewable

We are currently seeking a highly experienced QAQC Site Representative to support a major deepwater greenfield development during its drilling and wells execution phase.
This role will be based in Paramaribo, Suriname, operating on a rotational basis, and will play a key part in ensuring quality assurance, inspection readiness, and service quality performance across contractor onshore bases supporting drilling operations. Acting as the Company representative at contractor onshore bases, you will oversee inspection, quality management, stock control verification, and audit activities to ensure drilling and completions equipment meets required standards prior to mobilization to offshore rigs. You will work closely with Performance & Methods, Logistics, Materials, Superintendents, and contractor management teams to maintain full QAQC oversight across drilling and wells activities.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Inspection Oversight
Coordinate and manage inspection activities in line with operational planning
Supervise implementation of Service Quality Plans (SQPs) in accordance with API Q2
Ensure all drilling, completions, and intervention equipment is certified and ready prior to loadout
Establish and manage release processes (Final Release Notes) before rig mobilization
Perform technical inspections during goods custody at company and contractor bases
Review concessions, derogations, and corrective action follow-ups
Audit & Continuous Improvement
Participate in QMS and SQP audits across onshore contractor bases
Conduct and support API Q2 and ISO9001/APIQ1 audit activities
Drive contractor performance improvements through structured quality reviews
Support rig management system audits including PMS
Monitor service non-conformities, NPTs, and corrective action tracking
Stock & Materials Control
Coordinate stock transfer movements and verify material status
Support material requirement planning (MRP) for drilling & wells stock
Evaluate repair vs. replacement decisions through risk assessment
Ensure proper storage, preservation, and inspection practices
Systems & Reporting
Maintain and update inspection and reporting systems
Track NPTs, actions, and quality metrics
Monitor key KPIs including maintenance throughput, inspection volumes, backlog, and service performance
Provide structured reporting and quality feedback to management
HSE & Leadership
Demonstrate strong HSSE leadership and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
Promote a strong QAQC culture across service providers
Ensure contractors adhere to international standards and project quality requirements
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 15 years’ Oil & Gas experience
At least 10 years’ QAQC experience in drilling and wells activities (SPS, OCTG, well equipment, audits)
Strong knowledge of drilling, completions, well testing, and intervention equipment
Good understanding of rig operations
Lead Auditor certification (ISO9001/APIQ1)
API Q2 Practitioner certification
Experience auditing Service Quality Plans and contractor QMS systems
Fluent English
Strong interpersonal and multicultural communication skills
Offshore Medical, BOSIET CA-EBS + HUET required
