We are looking for a Chief Officer (non DP) for our Clients 45.5m Landing Craft .

The vessel is providing a passenger/vehicle ferry and inter-island cargo service. She carries a crew of 8. This vessel is operating in challenging weather conditions with a very diverse workload : the ferry service attracts a mix of HGVs and domestic traffic; the cargo service is around many small outer lying islands, carrying general cargo and livestock, and requires adaptability and hands on deck work.
Position: Chief Officer (must be experienced with such vessels)
Vessel: Landing craft - see above details
Location: Falkland Islands
Date: April 23rd - permanent role - 4/5 week rotations
Mandatory certs.
Chief Off CoC
FSE for all other nationalities that are on the MCA approved list for Deck and Engine Officers
All STCWs for position
ENG1 / Seafarers Medical
Very high standard of both written & spoken English
Must be willing to take a full medical and background check to receive a work permit for immigration purposes in the Falkland Islands
