We are working with a reputable offshore drilling company in their search for an experienced Senior DPO to join one of their drillships.
This is a one-off trip starting on 14th of May for a full hitch, providing emergency cover.
Candidates are advised that due to the location of this project, you must hold a valid Schengen Visa or have the right to work in the UK/EU.
Applicants must have proven DP watchkeeping knowledge and be confident in their ability to supervise, make important decisions and lead effectively while maintaining safety regulations.
Duties will include;
Maintain the vessel's position using the Dynamic Positioning system during drilling and critical operations
Allocate tasks and ensure proper DP watch routines are followed
Maintain DP logs, event records, and incident reports
Required certificates;
Full DP certificate
OPITO approved BOSIET / FOET
OGUK Medical
Certificate of Competency, Officer of the Watch/Master Unlimited/Chief Mate
STCW Basic Safety
