Job Opening: 3rd Engineer / Deck Mechanic – Pipelay Construction Vessel

Start Date: 13 May 2026
Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off

Are you an 3rd Engineer experienced with deck duties, ready for your next offshore challenge? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our project team onboard a state-of-the-art pipelay construction vessel.

We are specifically looking for candidates with previous experience on drillships or cutter suction dredgers, as the role involves working with a wide range of hydraulic deck equipment and offshore construction systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out mechanical and technical tasks on deck equipment and systems
• Support inspection, installation, and repair activities during offshore operations
• Comply with all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Work as part of a professional offshore team under the supervision of senior officers

Vessel Capabilities

• Advanced offshore pipelay vessel specialized in the installation of large subsea pipelines in both shallow and ultra-deepwater projects worldwide
• DP3 dynamic positioning system

Requirements
• STCW III/1 – Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch
• HUET / FOET / BOSIET
• CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)
• Valid STCW training certificates and Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Marlins English Test
