Civil / Structural Engineer - Dubai/Saudi Arabia
Location: Dubai, UAE (with frequent travel to Saudi Arabia)
Duration: 12-Month Contract

Candidates already residing in UAE/with UAE VISA will be preferred.
We are supporting a major gas infrastructure expansion programme in the Middle East and are looking for an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join the Project Management Team (PMT) during the EPC execution phase. The programme forms part of a large-scale strategy to expand gas processing and distribution capacity across the region, supporting industrial growth, energy efficiency, and lower-emission power generation through major upgrades to compression, transmission, and processing infrastructure. This role is ideally suited to candidates with previous PMC/PMT experience on major oil & gas EPC developments. You will support the delivery and oversight of EPC scopes related to civil and structural works for large-scale compression and process facilities. Working closely with contractors and project teams, you'll ensure engineering quality, construction compliance, and timely execution across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee civil and structural engineering activities during EPC execution
Review designs for foundations, steel structures, pipe racks, buildings, and process facilities
Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications
Support modular structure reviews including lifting, transportation, and load-out analysis
Review contractor deliverables, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
Support technical query resolution and change management activities
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
Monitor contractor performance and engineering quality
Participate in procurement and technical evaluation activities
Candidate Profile
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
10-15 years' experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy infrastructure projects
Previous PMC/PMT experience essential
Strong EPC project execution experience
Familiar with international design codes and standards (IBC, American & British codes, etc.)
Strong experience with heavy foundations, process structures, and industrial facilities
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Fluent in English
